Dose
- One cartridge (1000mg): Set the dose to 15 units.
- Two cartridges (500mg each): Set the dose to 30 units.
- Initial use: Inject daily for 3–4 days, then switch to every other day for 4–6 weeks. Adjust dosage for desired results (varies by person).
Storage
- Keep the pen and current cartridge in a fridge (2–8°C or 35.6–46.4°F).
- Store spare cartridges in the fridge.
- Use cartridges before their expiry date.
- Keep the pen cold if travelling.
How to Administer
- Remove the pen lid by pulling, not twisting, and ensure the cartridge is inside the holder.
- Attach a needle tip to the pen, but don’t remove the cover yet.
- Clean the injection site (lower abdomen or buttock) with an alcohol wipe.
- Remove both needle tip covers.
- Set the dosage (as mentioned above depending on your cartridge dosage).
- Pinch the skin slightly away from the muscle.
- Insert the needle and press the pen to create a small dimple in the skin.
- Press the button to administer the NAD+ (mild stinging may occur).
- Wait 5 seconds after the dial returns to zero.
- Replace the needle cover, unscrew the needle, and dispose of it in the sharps bin.
